New York Aster (var. novi-belgii) is a perennial wildflower native to Canada, the lower 48 states, and Saint-Pierre & Miquelon. It grows to 6 ft and blooms Jul in part shade – shade, with brown fruit. A host for pollen-specialist native bees.
